The fee for typing is £15.00 per hour plus VAT. A ratio of 5 hours typing per 1 hour of recording time is used as an approximate guide so, for example, a 1 hour recording will cost about £75.00 plus VAT, depending on the factors mentioned above.

The time taken to transcribe an audio tape or CD depends upon several factors which include:
The length of the recording
The quality of the recording (background noise etc)
The complexity of the subject material
Finished transcriptions are normally returned by e-mail attachment, although they can supplied on CD if required. Our usual output format is Microsoft Word, although we can supply other formats if needed.
